Alright, I was going to make this huge post about the recent uproar of talk about "pic spamming" on DA and about where some of my watchers think I lie in relation to that, but I won’t.

I’ve had enough time to cool down and realize that I don’t need to be pointing fingers, placing blame and all that, but I will say just one thing, if you guys didn’t like me posting so many photographs from one shoot… then why not tell me that?!

I know this doesn’t apply to all of you, but a few of you have referenced myself and my recent ‘pic spammage’ in replies to two of my friends posts on pic spam and frankly, I’m both rather pissed off yet relieved about it.

Pissed off because only one person, someone that I know IRL had the balls to tell me that I was uploading too much, that I should cut it down, but no one else did, all I heard was ‘keep uploading, I love all your pictures, it’s worth having to go through all of them because they’re all great!’ and so on and so forth. Hearing that I was of course led to believe that people wanted me to keep uploading in such huge mass amounts, but apparently I was wrong and frankly I just have to wonder why some people couldn’t say it to my face, rather than referencing me behind my back or not saying anything at all.

I’m not gonna yell at you, I’m not gonna hurt you and I’m not gonna kill you, I want your criticisms, even if they are about how many photographs I upload rather than the technical aspects of a photograph or whether it’s good or not. I just wish a lot of you had told me this sooner because frankly it would have saved all of us, including myself, a lot of grief.

I would have loved the idea of not having to upload all 300+ of my photographs, one by bloody one, onto DA, I really would have, I mean it takes me nearly 6 hours to upload 400 photographs, that time could be better spent doing stuff that really needs to be done {a.k.a RL crap}, plus it’d be easier on my eyes XDD I love DA, I love my watchers but I never really loved having to upload so many photographs one after the other, I only did it because I thought that was what everyone wanted and because I like making people happy/giving them what they want.

Therefore the rules have now changed, what I will do from now on is continue to post all my photographs from one shoot/picnic/etc {not including the crappy, blurry, shitty pics of course XD} onto Flickr as per usual and then I will upload between 10-100 photographs, of my own choosing, onto DA.

I know that the maximum of 100 still sounds like a lot, but let’s face it, it’s better than having 300+ photographs spamming your inbox ne?

Now I know that a lot of you don’t like Flickr or don’t have Flickr accounts {this was actually one of the reasons why I decided to upload most of my photographs from a shoot/picnic/etc onto DA} but this is just the way it is now going to be, get to know and love Flickr, it's a great site! All photographs will be put up on Flickr, while my selection of favourite/best photographs shall be put up on DA with a link, as per usual, to my Flickr gallery.
